Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets (including amounts borrowed for investment purposes) in common stocks of small-capitalization U.S. companies, generally defined by the market-cap range of the Russell 2000 Growth Index at the time of purchase, and it may continue to hold companies that later fall outside that range. It typically invests in common stocks, including U.S. dollar-denominated securities of foreign issuers, with up to 20% in foreign issuers, and may have significant exposure to Health Care, Industrials and Information Technology. It uses a growth style focused on above-average earnings growth potential, may use small-cap index ETFs for cash management, may hold cash and high-quality reserves (including for defensive purposes), and may lend securities.
