Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in securities of companies principally engaged in the manufacture, sale, or distribution of consumer staples, including areas such as drug stores and pharmacies, retail food stores and super centers, packaged foods and tobacco, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, agricultural products, and non-durable household and personal and beauty care products. It primarily invests in common stocks of domestic and foreign issuers. Principal engagement may be determined by company assets, income, sales, or profits, or by third-party industry classification. Derivatives providing related exposure are included in the 80% policy. Fundamental analysis is used to select investments.
