Fund Description

The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in equity securities, primarily common stocks, and may also invest in YieldCos, ADRs, REITs, and publicly traded MLPs. It invests across a wide range of industries and company sizes, holding equity securities of U.S. and foreign companies with no limit on the share invested in the U.S. or abroad. Under normal market conditions, at least 25% of total assets are invested in alternative energy companies. Security selection balances factors such as areas of interest, risk, valuation, and company and industry prospects. The investment advisor also considers its expectations for an investment based on, among other things, the company's technological and management strength.
